ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Steph Van Doren earned her BFA from Drake University in Des Moines, IA and her MFA from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. She considers herself a 'social neo-abstractionist'. Although Van Doren considers herself an environmentalist, she does not attempt to solve or mitigate environmental issues through her art. Her aim is to emphasize the forgotten beauty of nature. In her work, nature is reduced to the bare essentials of line, color, shape and light, independent of visual reference to the real.
ABOUT THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR:
Melanie Toniazzo has a passion for both art and fashion. Her goal is to empower and establish confidence in women, through accessories that stand out, by creating truly unique and iconic pieces that blur the line between design and art. She hopes to push the boundaries of innovation and create memorable pieces of art that are functional in everyday life. Melanie has a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Elmhurst University in Illinois.

We want to share Melanie's deep love for fashion and Steph's love for art, in a way that artistry and functionality collide in the most beautiful way.
